upGrad appoints Venkatesh Tarakkad as chief financial officer

Venkatesh Tarakkad has held numerous leadership positions across other brands like Ecom Express, TCNS Clothing, Siam Makro Thailand, Metro Cash & Carry and Coca-Cola India after starting his career with Ernst & Young in the early 90s.

Venkatesh Tarakkad will be responsible for overseeing upGrad’s domestic and global financial strategies, encompassing a broader spectrum of areas such as investor relations, business finance, corporate finance, enterprise/accounting controllership, financial planning and analysis, risk management, tax, and treasury functions.

SG Sports and Entertainment (SGSE) appoints tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi as its chief executive officer

Mahesh Bhupathi aims to leverage emerging technologies to help build IP as well as enhance fan and consumer engagement. Furthermore, he will look at establishing key partnerships to create a supportive ecosystem that can marry sport and entertainment under the same IP.

Mahesh Bhupathi will be planning strategic direction and growth initiatives of the emerging sports and entertainment business.

Zetwerk appoints Josh Foulger as president – electronics

Previously, Josh Foulger also worked with Nokia Corporation, where he spent seventeen plus years with the company.

In his new role, Josh Foulger will spearhead the consumer and electronics manufacturing segment of the company and work closely with Rahul Sharma, co-founder of Zetwerk.

Pidilite appoints Sudhanshu Vats as MD designate; Kavinder Singh as joint MD
