Xiaomi Technology’s Manu Kumar Jain announces G42’s founding team

Manu Kumar Jain, who had led Xiaomi Technology as global vice president, had joined G42 as chief executive officer in September 2023.

Aakriti Gupta will head the company as the finance director, Reema Dash will take up the designation of a legal director. Sanuj Shah has been onboarded as the program director, and Rahul Pal will look after spearheading the AI efforts.

PayU Payments appoints five new members to its board of directors

TikTok’s global marketing head Jessica Wong departs

Jessica Wong began her career at University of California, and went on to work across Sony Pictures Television International, PromaxBDA and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Jessica Wong, who took up the position of global head of marketing in May 2021, looked after category and community marketing across entertainment, music, sports and gaming, grew non-traditional marketing initiatives and led branded marketing campaigns with organisations and influencers.

As the managing director of DeBeers India, Sachin Jain has led the De Beers Forevermark business in India and the Middle East.

Sachin Jain was the managing director at De Beers India.

Nat Habit onboards Ankita Srivastava as chief marketing officer

Ankita Srivastava began her career at Godrej & Boyce, and went on to work across Loreal India, Reckitt Benckiser, Marico and Novartis.

Previously, Ankita Srivastava was the CMO at Hari Krishna Group’s Kisna, a diamond jewellery brand.

Citigroup onboards Viswas Raghavan as head of banking and executive vice chairman

Kalpit Shishodia, who led the customer service function since 2017, has been promoted to the role of director commercial operations to oversee all revenue generating functions under sales and service.

Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma steps down as Paytm Bank’s non-executive chairman and board member

This is part of reconstituting the Board of the payments bank, the company said. OCL owns the Paytm brand, stated Moneycontrol.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s resignation comes ahead of the March 15 deadline by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), for restrictions on deposits and credit transactions by Paytm Payments Bank.
