As per an August 14 SEBI order, Chandra and Goenka was barred from holding the position of a director or a KMP (Key Management Personnel) in Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Zee Media Corporation Ltd, Zee Studios Ltd. (wholly owned subsidiary of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.); Zee Akaash News Pvt Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Zee Media Corporation Ltd.).

The Court also asked the platform to comply with the directions of the learned Additional District Judge within three days.

MIB’s Anurag Thakur launches Prasar Bharati’s news sharing service SHABD; Says ‘historic day for India’s I&B sector’

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur said the SHABD service is being offered free of cost for the first year as an introductory offer. He said the service "will revolutionize the news industry and will massively support the smaller news organizations that do not have the benefit of an extensive network for content gathering."

SHABD will share content with the rest of the print and electronic media industry of India, providing news stories in all major Indian languages across fifty categories.
