Visa appoints Shruti Gupta as vice president and head – CRM, India and South Asia

Shruti Gupta has a master’s degree in business administration from FORE School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in science from Delhi University.

In her role, Shruti Gupta will head Visa’s business and corporate solutions including Commercial Solutions, Integrated Money Movement and Visa Government Solutions.

Indian-origin executive Sunil Gupta to become CEO of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa

Sunil Gupta will play a critical role in The Coca-Cola Company’s continued commitment to successfully list CCBA as a public company via an initial public offering (IPO) once market conditions become more favourable.

Sunil Gupta was previously chief financial officer for The Coca-Cola Company’s Bottling Investments Group (BIG).

Bridgestone appoints Hiroshi Yoshizane as managing director – India

WPP’s Mirum elevates Mihir Karkare as managing director

Mihir Karkare began his career at e-Emphasys Technologies as associate software engineer. He was a part of the xApps (Extended Applications) group, which made applications that extended the functionality of the core ERP, including a field service scheduler, a laptop and mobile client for the same, a Customer Dashboard for basic CRM activities as well as a e-commerce solution completely integrated with the back end ERP.

Hareesh Tibrewala and Sanjay Mehta, who were the joint chief executive officers of the agency, have stepped down from their positions.

Amway onboards Rajneesh Chopra as its India chief

Rajneesh Chopra began his career at Revlon as assistant manager - sales and marketing, and then began his career as business development manager at Amway. Then he rose to the ranks to hold the position of vice president -sales.

His strategic leadership and ability to forge strong client relationships have been instrumental in positioning FCB as a creative powerhouse in the industry.
